Experimenting with tools in Maya and texturing methods in Substance 3D painter
I initially created this model as an experiment for creating something that looks like clipart or a toy. I wanted to find out what textures would make the rocket look more cartoony however I followed a tutorial for texturing and I began to experiment with different settings and materials eventually settling on a more Fallout or post-apocalyptic style. I took some reference from the Rockets in Fallout New Vegas however I was of course basing the model of the simple rocket clipart. I used Autodesk Maya to create and UV the model then exported, textured and Rendered in 3D Substance Painter.
