This week I began the creation of the character that would be used in some renders, as mentioned before when creating the Jersey I was following a character creation tutorial on YouTube I used this tutorial mainly to keep the proportions accurate as this was a contract and that the character being modelled in the video fit the art style that the Organizer wanted for the character.

I began by getting an reference of a low ploy model facing three different directions so that I could create an model that was proportionally correct. I first used a cube that was subdivided to create the torso which I made slightly thinner that the reference as the model was meant to represent a younger boy so the model should have been as broad as the reference. I then deleted the faces at the shoulders of the model for a place to connect the arms, i then subdivided the torso until it looked smooth enough. The arms were created in a similar way with a cube being subdivided, resized to match the reference's arms and both sides of the arms being deleted for the shoulder and hands.
The legs, hands and feet were again made the same way except I had to make the legs less muscular as it was meant to be a young boy.
