To begin the week I started the modelling of referee cards that would be used in so animations and possibly some renders. The modelling of the cards was very easy as I could just use a flattened cube with the corners beveled with 5 subdivisions then the model was complete. When taking the model into 3D substance painter I used a simple 'painted rolled' material with the roughness increased to create the impression of plastic. I again used the 'paint rolled' material to place on the initials 'DJ' and a cross symbol onto the card for some extra detail. I then changed the main colour of the card and exported the second set of textures so that i would have a red and a yellow version of the card.

Next I began creating the goal post model I started by using cylinder shapes to make the front frame and the legs on the side this made it easier to readjust the scale of each part. I then used copy and pasted low ploy cylinders and the bend tool to create the lining for the net I did this as i knew that the animation of the ball going into the net wouldn't be close enough to see any movement in the net.

Finally I had a discussion with the Organizer were the discussion was at first about feedback on the currently modelled props in which there was a few small adjustment to things like textures on the old football. The second half of the meeting was mainly about the rough ideas for the animations like a ball being shot into a net or a turntable of a player model. There were a few requests I had to turn down as I didn't have the knowledge or experience to complete them to a acceptable level and I had to reiterate that I am mainly a prop artist not an animator so the animations should remain simple.
